James A. Breaugh

James Breaugh is a professor of management in the College of Business Administration at the University of Missouri – St. Louis.  He has conducted research on the topics of employee recruitment, work-family balance, job design, telework, employee selection, and voluntary turnover. His articles have appeared in the Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, Annual Review of Psychology, Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Management, Journal of Organizational Behavior, Organizational Research Methods, and Personnel Psychology. Professor Breaugh’s research has been cited over 4,200 times according to Google Scholar.  His research contributions have resulted in his being voted to fellowship status in the American Psychological Association, the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology, and Association for Psychological Science. Professor Breaugh is currently on the editorial boards of the Journal of Applied Psychology and Personnel Psychology. He has served as an associate editor for JAP and as Chair of the Human Resource Management Division of the Academy of Management.  Professor Breaugh has consulted for such firms as:  Express Scripts, Anheuser-Busch, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Monsanto, St. Louis County, and Barnes Hospital.
